About me

I'm an enthusiastic, adaptive, fast-learning and very disciplined person. Electronical Engineer, Master in Automatización y Control Industrial and current PhD. candidate in Engineer at the Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano with a broad and acute interest in the development of computational systems for the aid of cancer diagnosis. I particularly enjoy collaborating with scientists from different disciplines to develop new skills and abilities to solve new challenges.

I'm currently working as a full time instructor and researcher at the Institución Universitaria Pascual Bravo where I teach and develop projects related to machine learning and image processing on biomedical imaging

    Ph.D candidate in Computer Engineering under supervision of prof. Gloria M. Díaz, Ph.D (Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano) and Juan C. Caicedo, Ph.D (University of Wisconsin-Madison). My thesis involves the design and implementation of deep learning based models to support the diagnosis of breast cancer through medical imaging.

  2. M.Sc Automation and Industrial Control

    2016 — 2018, Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano

    M.Sc in Automation and Industrial Control under supervision of prof. Gloria M. Díaz, Ph.D (Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano) and Juan C. Caicedo, Ph.D (University of Wisconsin-Madison). My thesis involved the design and implementation of multimodal deep learning models for emotion recognition systems using audio and video, for which I received an honorary mention.

    I'm Electronic engineer under supervision of prof. David Góez, M.Sc (Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano). I worked on the development of control systems and signal processing for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
